Behind the studio doors this month: the reformulation of our Peptide Thermal Defense Mist, engineered for the stylists who told us two hundred twenty degrees was no longer enough for silk-press season.
What Changes
The new thermo-active peptide network cross-links at a lower activation temperature, which means the protective barrier forms earlier in the heat pass — before the flat iron reaches full plate temperature, not after. Early bench testing shows the same 230°C defense with measurably less film on fine hair.
Why It Matters
Stylists have told us the current mist performs beautifully on thick fiber but needs a lighter hand on fine, bleach-sensitive heads. The reformulation closes that gap: the same shield, a fraction of the residue.
